Perfectly situated hotel right in the centre of Newcastle. Only a very short walk to the main station and light rail. Parking was easy and the buffet breakfast was excellent. The rooms were okay, and the service was exceptional. For a holiday it was great, and I'd imagine for a business trip it'd tick all of the boxes too. Thank you!

Had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn Express! The hotel is impeccably neat and tidy, and the service is truly excellent. It offers everything you need for a delightful break. I appreciated the thoughtful touch of having refreshments and snacks available at the reception. Additionally, the small menu for ordering food came in handy when I was feeling peckish. Overall, a highly recommended choice for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Express! I didn’t expect a lot while I booked as me and my family stopped only one night to have a rest to continue our trip to gold coast.However I was impressed by the place and surrounding entertainment areas. The staff are very friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable.

Good, compact room with all you need for a short stay, included amenities like soap, shampoo, conditioner, and you can request other things at the reception. The rooms have air conditioning, but because you can't open the windows, it had a noticeable musty smell, but that can't be helped much. Our view of the park was nice, and you could even see the ocean from our room. Really great location within about a 3 minute walk from the train and light rail stations. There is also parking available, though its $20 a night, which is pretty steep on top of our accomodation costs. Hot breakfast buffet was also included which was very tasty. The staff were really nice and helpful, and they let us keep our luggage in storage after we checked out.

Friendly & helpful staff. Comfy bed. Black out curtains are great. Room was quiet. Quiet Air con. Secure under cover parking is great. Breakfast was basic, would have been better if bacon was available.

Went here with family and it’s decent. The beds and room are alright. Pillows aren’t the best and the shampoo bottle was completely empty when my sister went to go shower first. Moreover, I went to shower after her and after like 2-3 spurts of conditioner, it was also empty. So it’s alright. Some staff are very nice, the others seem more interested in their own conversations.

I was quite impressed by this place on a recent business trip to Newcastle. I didn’t expect much, but found the hotel to be quite recently renovated/refreshed, so the decor and fit out looked reasonably new, neat and tidy. Staff were friendly, if a little stretched manning the front desk and the bar/coffee machine, but they were attentive. Clean rooms with everything you’d expect.

Central location Clean room Decent breakfast Light rail is walking distance. Some of the best streets and beaches are all nearby Parking is available but paid 20$ per day for hotel guests
